OUR STORY

Baking has been a part of my life for as long as i can remember. As a child, I would spend hours teaching myself to bake, cutting out recipes of magazines I had found and experimenting in the kitchen with them. Some of my fondest memories are baking with my grandma, learning not just the skills, but the joy that comes from creating something to share with others.

By my teenage years, that passion had grown into something more. I needed extra work, and I found myself taking on jobs helping others bake and sell cakes at farmers markets around London. I lived two hours away, but I loved it so much that I happily made the commute four days a week. Long before that, I'd even dabbled in 'business' as a kid, buying packet cake mixes, baking them up, and selling the cakes at local events and shoots. Looking back, that's where both my love of baking and my entrepreneurial spirit really began to shine.

Now, in my 30's, the itch to bake has never gone away. For years, friends and family have asked me to bake for them, and after many, many requests, i've decided it's time to finally share my creations with more than just my inner circle. 

Emita Bakes is the result of a lifelong love for baking, from childhood curiosity, to early business ventures, to professional experience, and now to you. Every cake, brownie, blondie and baked treat is made with the same passion I've carried with me since those early days in the kitchen.

I'm so excited to offer the nation a taste of what I love most: simple, joyful, hand made delicious baked goods, made to be shared.
